1. About Noda Vale

Noda Vale is an online marketplace that connects Fijian citizens with accommodation owners across Fiji at local rates. Noda Vale is not a hotel, travel agency or property manager. We do not own, control or operate any of the properties listed on the platform.

Every stay is a direct agreement between the guest and the property owner. Noda Vale provides the listing, verification, messaging, booking and payment-coordination tools that make that agreement possible.

2. Who may use the platform

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract under Fiji law.

Local rates on Noda Vale are reserved for verified Fijian citizens. To book you must complete citizenship verification and keep your details accurate.

You must provide truthful information, keep your password secure and take responsibility for everything done through your account.

3. Bookings

Submitting a booking request is an offer to stay on the dates, at the price and under the cancellation policy shown at the time of booking. A booking becomes binding when the owner accepts it (or immediately, where instant booking is enabled) and payment has been arranged as agreed.

Prices are shown in Fiji dollars (FJD) and include the nightly rate and cleaning fee shown in the price breakdown. Any local levies or deposits an owner charges on arrival must be disclosed in the listing.

4. Owners

Owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listing, the safety, cleanliness and legality of their property, all required licences, taxes and insurance, and for honouring confirmed bookings.

Owners pay a one-time listing fee per property. Noda Vale may charge a booking commission where this is disclosed in the price breakdown before a guest books.

5. Conduct and content

You must not post false, misleading, discriminatory, unlawful or offensive content, take payments off-platform to avoid fees, scrape the platform, or attempt to interfere with its security.

We may remove content, suspend accounts or refuse service where we reasonably believe these terms or Fiji law have been breached.

6. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Fiji law, Noda Vale is not liable for the acts or omissions of guests or owners, the condition of any property, or any loss, injury or damage arising from a stay. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission Act.

7. Changes, disputes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app or by email. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Fiji and the courts of Fiji have jurisdiction.
